At Captain Roofing, we believe leadership is about how you serve the people around you. That’s why we created Captains in the Community, a quarterly recognition of someone who leads with integrity, courage, and compassion right here in the communities we serve.
From teachers and coaches to veterans, volunteers, and everyday heroes, we want to spotlight those who stand up for what’s right, lift others up, and lead by example—just like a true Captain.
Who Is a Captain in the Community?
Each quarter, we select one standout individual to honor as a Captain in the Community. It’s our way of saying thank you, and making sure their story gets heard. A Captain in the Community is someone who:
Leads with honesty and courage
Serves others selflessly
Puts people before recognition
Makes sacrifices to do what’s right
Stands firm in their values
Inspires trust and respect from those around them
Nominate a Local Leader
Know someone who fits the bill? We want to hear about them.
We accept nominations from anyone in the community—friends, neighbors, coworkers, coaches, or students. Whether they volunteer with youth, mentor others, or have stepped up in a time of crisis, their impact matters.

Captains in the Community: Our Goals
Captain Roofing was built on the values of leadership, integrity, and service—values our founders carried with them from the military into this business. Captains in the Community is our way of recognizing those who live out those same principles in everyday life.
When we lift up great leaders, we help grow stronger communities. And that’s what this is all about.
